I am an evolutionary biologist with interests centered in the evolution of visual signaling in animals, with a particular emphasis in the processes that lead to population divergence, hybridization, and/or speciation. Recently this has also started to take a look at how this works in the context of anthropogenic disturbance. I occasionally also dabbled in blending conservation with behavioral economics, and themes in public health.

I'm always interested in expanding collaborations, my 'door' is always open. I'm especially pleased to speak with, and assist, any educators, media or non-scientists who would like to find out more about my research.
